In Russia, there is an increased demand for tours for the New Year and Christmas period, and in some locations reaches 17-50% in annual terms. This is contrary to the general economic situation, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze told reporters. Along with this, sales for tours to the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, and to the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters are increasing.
The most popular outbound tourism destinations: Thailand, the UAE, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Goa (India), Indonesia, Malaysia.
Sales growth in the Krasnodar Territory, the Crimea, and the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters increased by 10-15%. The executive director of ATOR called the trend an increase in organized sales to the ski resorts of the Caucasus.
